As always, we hope for a better year than the last. But what makes a better year? A cash windfall? A promotion? A cancelled deployment? An end to war & racism? The Teacher from Ecclesiastes said it was to work hard & enjoy the fruits of your labors. We can attest that sometimes we're not allowed , for whatever reason to enjoy those fruits. To me, it just proves that a closer relationship with the One who made us is what makes a 'better' year. "To a more personal close relationship with God" "Hear, hear"
